Submit Story | New Fiction Writers

Submit your short story here.

We accept stories anywhere between 3000-9000 words. Longer stories may be considered but will probably be serialized (two or three parts). For a story to be considered for the podcast, there is no fee to submit. A donation of five dollars would be greatly appreciated but it is not mandatory. These donations are used for advertising the podcast.

If you would like to create an account and share your story with the community of writers, readers and listeners in the newfictionwriters community there is no charge. We do occasionally choose stories from the writers in our community who share their stories with us on the website.

If your story is chosen, an audio version of your story will be made available for download at iTunes, Zune and our RSS feed and presented to the world via the NewFictionWriters podcast.

Please read the terms and click on the Agree button and submit your story. It's as simple as that.

All other submissions can be posted on your account after you Log-in at the Home page by using the "Create Content" button on the upper right hand side of the page under your name. Click on "Create Content"- click on "My new fiction" and copy and paste your story or poem there. For any further questions go to the F.A.Q. page or email us at newfictionwriters@gmail.com

Here at NewFictionWriters .com our aim is to give you exciting and thought-provoking fiction for you to enjoy, free of charge. Please feel free to join us and become a part of our community. Listen to the podcasts and, by all means, send in your stories for us to read. If you choose to do so, we ask that you do so with respect to others and their beliefs and cultural differences. Here at NFW, we are not responsible for views or opinions stated or expressed in the individual authors stories. Please keep in mind that the stories here are works of fiction and subjective. Similarities to real persons or events are coincidental or by the authors design. All of the work on this site is copyrighted by NewFictionWriters, Inc., or by the individual authors whose work we're publishing. The sound files are created by us under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives License, the full text of which can be found here: http://creativecommons.org/license/by-nc-nd/3.0/ What this means, basically, is that it is legal to share any or all of these sound files in their entirety, but illegal for third parties to profit from them, or modify them in any way to create derivative works. If you wish to contact us to ask the author for permission to change their story or use it in any other way, please do so. I'm sure they would love to hear from you. Keep in mind that is illegal unless absolute permission is granted. Please understand that there may be adult language and situations or concepts in many of the stories. You must, as an individual, decide to deal with that in your own way. Each story will be clearly rated using the standard rating system of G, PG, R, and X. If you are not familiar with this rating system you are from another planet and it doesn’t matter any way. You are probably going to destroy our civilization and replace it with a much kinder and more rational one. So, what difference does it make? We do apologize for that outburst, but as you can imagine this is a very tedious job. As we stated in the submission guidelines, please remember if you post it, it is public.
